Olanrewaju Akintayo – Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer
Lanre is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and holds an MBA from Imperial College Business School in London, as well as a BA (Hons) from the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside. He has extensive experience in the Consulting and Financial Services sectors in the UK, along with experience in the FMCG industry in Nigeria. His career includes roles at multinational companies such as Accenture, Zurich Insurance, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Coca-Cola (Nigerian Bottling Company). Currently, Lanre is responsible for the overall strategic direction of his business, leveraging his diverse industry expertise to drive growth and innovation.
Ayoade Adewopo – Chief Operating Officer
Ayoade Adewopo is a specialist and corporate counsel focusing on Compliance, Corporate Governance, Global Trade Financing, and Anti-Money Laundering at Laoye & Adewopo (L&A), a prominent commercial law firm in Nigeria. His education spans Nigeria, Europe, and the United States, equipping him with a diverse legal perspective. Ayoade’s career encompasses significant roles across global corporate and legal sectors in Nigeria, Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He has worked for the Hong Kong Equal Opportunities Commission and Ice Miller LLP in Indiana, USA. Additionally, he served as Senior Global Operations Counsel for The Scott’s Miracle-Gro Company and Vice President & Assistant General Counsel (Americas) for Ingersoll-Rand. Ayoade also held a position as a Corporate Governance and Anti-Money Laundering Specialist with the Central Bank of Nigeria, showcasing his expertise in navigating complex regulatory environments.
Adijat Ladipo – Chief Food Technologist
Adijat is a certified Quality and Food Safety professional with expertise in CQA, PCQI, HACCP, ISO 22000 Lead Auditor, Food Sanitation, and Food Defense. She holds a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago. With extensive experience in the FMCG sector, she has worked with notable companies such as Nabisco-Kraft, Fresh Express-Chiquita, and East Balt-Bimbo. Currently, Adijat is responsible for the overall Quality and Food Safety at Cedar, where she leverages her skills and experience to ensure compliance with industry standards and enhance product safety. Her background and certifications position her as a key asset in maintaining high-quality food safety practices.
Bamidele Ogunlowo – Chief Financial Officer
Bamidele is a seasoned Auditor, Forensic Professional, and Tax Consultant with over 20 years of experience gained in the UK and Nigeria. He holds a degree in Business Accounting from the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside. Bamidele began his career in 1996 at Coker Isah & Co, an accounting firm in London, and later served as a Financial Controller at David Collins Associates in Chelsea for four years. He also worked for nearly two years as a Financial Controller at the Commission for Local Administration in England, under the supervision of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. He is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the Chartered Institute of Forensic & Investigative Professionals of Nigeria (CIFIPN), and is a fellow of the ACCA, ICAN, CITN, IFA, and the Chartered Institute of Public Administrators of Ghana (CIPA), among others.
Taiwo Akintayo – Head HR, and Admin
Taiwo has over 12 years of experience in Human Resource Management, Project Management, Consulting, Organizational and Business Process Management, and Strategic Planning. She is a Certified Human Resource Practitioner (ACIPM) and a member of several professional organizations, including the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Project Management Institute (PMI), and Key Performance Indicators Institute (KPI). Taiwo has worked with various companies, including Portplus Limited, Gran Imperio Group, Interactive Consultants Limited, Elizabeth R Events, and Airtel Nigeria. She has successfully managed multimillion-naira projects, notably serving as Project Manager for Inagbe Grand Resort and Leisure.
Morenike Okebu – Head, Legal and Corporate Governance
Morenike is a qualified attorney with extensive experience in corporate governance and legal matters, specializing in structuring high-value transactions worth millions of dollars. She graduated from the University of Sheffield and qualified to practice law in Nigeria shortly thereafter. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, Morenike is dedicated to delivering exceptional results for her clients. Her decades of experience enable her to navigate complex legal landscapes effectively, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment in all transactions. Morenike’s commitment to excellence and her strong legal acumen make her a valuable asset in the field of corporate law.
